Our general conversation classes have a maximum capacity of four students per lesson. This small class size enables us to give a personal service and ensures that you’re able to participate in all aspects of your lesson to the full.
All classes are 45 minutes in duration with a very flexible reservation system.
Adults may reserve lessons between 11.00-15.00 and 17.00-21.00 on weekdays and from 10.00-18.00 on weekends and national holidays.
The lesson times between 15.00-17.00 on weekdays are reserved for children’s classes and are purposely timed not to coincide with adult classes thus helping to maintain a relaxing learning environment for all.
We use the very latest texts from a variety of leading publishers including Oxford, Cambridge, Longman & Cengage to ensure that your lesson is both topical and entertaining. Homework, should you request it, can be set and monitored by your teacher as part of your study plan.
With our very own purpose written English Ability Check we ensure that you are initially placed in a class that is most suitable for you. We have 5 levels in our general conversation programme, varying from absolute beginner to advanced, each with it’s own suitably chosen curriculum. Once your starting level is determined you’ll be able to begin your studies without delay.
In your general conversation lesson you’ll be given the chance to study, question, discuss freely and produce with or without guided assistance as you so wish. Feedback is provided at all levels of your tuition to enable you to actively improve your English skills more quickly.
