ASHLEY'S School Reception

All lessons taught at ASHLEY'S are given by experienced native English speaking teachers from a variety of countries. We also have Japanese reception staff on hand to deal with any enquiries you may have. Here's a brief insight into the people you'll meet at our school:

English Teachers

Ashley

Our Director has been teaching English since 1995, both in the UK and Japan and has helped many students achieve both their personal and academic/business goals over the years. Having worked initially for some of the larger English Language Schools here in Japan he is very aware of the pros and cons of such institutions. To this end he is committed to providing quality English language lessons in an informal and relaxed atmosphere.

Meg

Meg

Meg was born and raised in Brisbane, Australia. She moved to Tokyo in 2019 after living in London, UK for six years.
Her bright character together with a love for children and a passion for education has led her to a career teaching English here in Japan.

In her free time, she enjoys travelling, cooking and hiking.

Lisa

Cory

Cory was raised in Ontario, Canada. He studied Social work at Humber College in Toronto before moving to Tokyo in 2017.

Cory has been teaching for 7 years both in Canada and Japan. He has a professional interest in Care Provider roles and during his free time he enjoys travelling, cycling, reading and record collecting.

Kevin

Kevin

Kevin was born and raised near Niagara Falls, Canada. After completing a History degree at university he came to Japan in 1995. Kevin has a TEFL Diploma and has been teaching English for 20 years, both in Canada and Japan. In his free time he enjoys relaxing with a good book, some good sake and one of his three cats snuggled on his lap.

 

Reception Staff

Our friendly and efficient bi-lingual reception staff are always ready to assist students with any queries they may have regarding their studies as well as dealing with reservations and other aspects as and when they arise.

 

School Facilities

A classroom at ASHLEY'SOur classroom suites, which have been specifically designed with students in mind, are clean & comfortable, each soundproofed and equipped with TV, DVD, and CD facilities, Individual Air-Conditioning and Under-floor Heating.

Soft Drinks, both hot and cold, are readily available in the school and as part of our commitment to conservation a share of the profits from these sales is given directly to the WWF (World Wide Fund For Nature).
